St. Louis County North County Bikeway
  • Assumed project lead for a 13 mile County bikeway.
  • Completion and major revisions of Phase 1 layout drawings, details, access point layouts and grading plan (AutoCad 14), specifications and cost estimates.
  • Produced new Phase 2 construction documents, specifications and cost estimates.
  • Resolution of differing bikeway requirements (AASHTO, MoDOT, St. Louis County)
  • Create base plan, site analysis, design alternatives and master plan (AutoCad 14).

    Olive Blvd./I-270 Interchange, City of Creve Coeur, MO

  • Design pavement patterns and layouts for overpass bridge deck planters (Microstation SE).

  • Performed native plant inventory, produce plant salvage plans and database.

  • Assist in project management in supervisor's absence.
  • Complete rewrite of all specifications to CSI format leading to a significant reduction in time spent generating project specifications (i.e. from 24.5 hours to 3.5 hours for two similar size projects).

  • As part of a larger class project, developed an inventory system for assessing visual qualities and physical condition of highways along the Baton Rouge/New Orleans Mississippi River Corridor.
  • Analyzed results using GIS software (MAP II) to determine the routes with the best combination of visual and physical aspects through the area.

    Recreation Inventory and Database
  • Inventory of all city recreational equipment and facilities of a system of 20+ parks and recreational facilities serving a population over 60,000.
  • Analysis of the city's facilities as compared to national guidelines and averages.
  • Create a computer database program to access the inventory information to assist the public in choosing a park suited to their needs and determine how to allocate equipment and labor. Additional Duties
