The ten Play Cubes comprise another custom play structure
at the Riparian Preserve. With a play surface of four feet square by two
feet high, these poured in place concrete cubes provide an additional signature
item for the town of Gilbert.
The sandblasted patterns on the Play Cubes cover a range of concepts. From the educational such as the sundial, to whimisical like Escher's Birds, these patterns carry the environmental themes created at the Riparian Preserve. The images are taken from AutoCAD drawings used in the construction plans and may be modified from the original drawings. |
